electrobike.jpg With skyrocketing gas prices found nearly everywhere in the world now, it might be a good time to look into more fuel-efficient ways of getting around. Bike riding is the ultimate environmentally and wallet-friendly mode of transportation, but for those going long distances, it's not quite as convenient.

Panasonic has just unveiled its new Electric Motocross bike, which pretty much looks like a regular bike, but also has electric power to help you keep moving when your legs have tired out. The bike comes in your choice of green or orange.

The bikes will be available for purchase beginning June 1st, but can now be pre-ordered. Like most cool technology, this bike is launching only in Japan for the time being. It will cost 89,800 Yen (including tax).
