The Palm Pre is looking better and better. Besides the design, and the features, and the fact that people have already started to compare their future releases to the Pre, we’ve just heard that the handset will sell for a lot less than initially announced.
According to recent news, the Pre will cost between $399 to $499 if unlocked and it will cost $149 or $199 with a contract. That’s cheaper than the other phone we keep talking about isn’t it. Unfortunately Palm will produce just about 200,000 of Pres initially. If the prices will be confirmed those first handsets will sell like hot cakes. I wonder what is Apple thinking right now about this.
