When the MiFi was first announced it’s ability to act as a wireless hotspot wowed consumers. Well with the announcement of the Palm Pre Plus and Pixi Plus, Verizon and Palm had to do something that would make the device more desirable that their Sprint counterparts.

And what exactly would that be? A Mobile HotSpot app that turns the two devices into wireless hotspots featuring connectivity for up to 5 devices.

There’s no telling how much the app will cost or if it will make for additional monthly charges but we’ll let you know as soon as its made known.
