Whatever you had going on today you should have noticed that today is Palm Pre’s day. The phone is on sale today and you can get it for $199 after rebates and with a contract. As with any other hot gadgets, the Pre has been dismantled already. All that hardware neatly arranged on the table there is supposed to cost only about $170. That’s right, that’s the cost of a Pre for Palm so paying $199 on contract sounds about right. We’ll be looking forward to check out some Palm’s earnings reports later this year. Will the Pre bring Palm back into the game?
