This may not be what you quite expected, like a release date or a price, but it’s surely something.  Palm’s savior, the Palm Pre, was recently caught hanging out with a couple of guys at the Bring Your Own Wheel race in San Franscisco.  The keen-eyed fella who snapped the picture above with his E71 quizzed the Pre-sporting duo about its public release date and all he could get out of them was a vague “probably won’t have to wait too much longer,” which neither fortifies the rumors of an impending May release nor denies it.  Still, it’s good to see the device up and about giving us hope that we “probably don’t have to wait much longer.”  Read on for a couple more pictures…
