Pal Pre’s app catalog has been fighting to reach even a fraction of the iPhone app store’s numbers, and they might have just done that now, reached a “fraction”, as there are now over 1,000 apps in the catalog now, about 1% the size of the iPhone app store.

The Pre app catalog was launched in June, meaning it took just a bit over 6 months to reach the 1,000 apps.
