07 Oct 09 Palm Pixi GSM Version Spotted
Palm’s second webOS phone, the Pixi has been spotted wearing GSM clothes. The phone isn’t yet available anywhere but a GSM prototype is out in the wild in Vietnam. As you can see in the picture here, the Pixi is “World Ready” which means that other carriers beside Sprint can sell in the USA. Not to mention that other international carriers will want to get in on the action and grab this GSM webOS phone as soon as it becomes available.
The Pixi here is most likely a version made for usage outside of the U.S. It has only 4GB of internal memory storage available instead of the regular 8GB memory that equips the Pixi headed to Sprint.

Well it’s mostly a rumor but it looks like the new webOS phone will come with a new OS version. The new software will bring you more features although we still don’t know what they are.
