Palm and Pelephone Launch Treo 700wx in Israel

Palm has launched their Treo 700wx smartphone in Israel in cooperation with Pelephone, the leader on cellular provider services at Isreal. The phone will be inserted in the CDMA/EV-DO network and is already available at Pelephone stores.

About the smartphone itself, the Treo 700wx features a touch-screen display with 240×240 resolution and comes with the Windows Mobile 5.0 platform. It has a QWERTY keyboard to make life easier for everyone, a 1.3 megapixel camera to shoot some cool photos, and supports the usual Bluetooth headsets. Inside there are 64MB of RAM to make it faster, and to store all the data you need to have on the smartphone there is a slot for a SD memory card that can hold 2GB.
