Earlier today it was made known that Microsoft launched their Windows Mobile 6.5 Marketplace app store and now we have a similar announcement regarding Palm and their webOS. While the App Catalog has been live ever since the Palm Pre was released to market the app offereings were very slim and featured no apps you could actually buy.

Today, however, Palm has announced that the first round of paid apps are making their way into the App Catalog with the first being the above Air Hockey game priced at $1.99.
