11 Dec 08 OTAS LC-1500: Solar powered battery for iPhone

OTAS, the company that brought us the e-blue PEQUENO Wireless Mouse, has come up with a special battery for the iPhone. It is entitled LC-1500 and besides the battery itself, there is a solar panel attached to it.

The Otas LC-1500 is small – 125×64×25mm – and light-weight – 100 grams – which are 2 good details for this kind of portable batteries. While getting recharged thanks the solar panel, it will take close to 13 hours to be fully charged. The iPhone accessory is only available in Japan, at least for now, and costs $60.
