Orange Mobile to Offer First Windows Mobile 6.0 Device for Business Users
Orange Business Services today launches the smartphone on the UK market running off Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.0, the SPV E650. The smartphone will be available exclusively from Orange until the beginning of May. The handset offers powerful functionality in a sleek design. Specifically for business users, the SPV E650 provides functionality of a PDA with support quad-band connectivity. It supports connections to Wi-Fi, EDGE and GPRS networks.
Slide open the Orange SPV E650 to reveal a QWERTY keyboard for easy input for emails and texts. The large display screen features automatic switching between portrait and landscape modes for optimum viewing of documents. With the Windows Mobile 6, the SPVE650 can be used to update and edit documents and spreadsheets with mobile versions of Microsoft Word and Excel. Another useful feature for its business users is the ability to remotely erase data through Microsoft Exchange Server if the device is lost or stolen
