OQO 02 Model Now Shipping

The all-new, redesigned OQO 02 ultra-mobile PC is now shipping and available for order. The OQO 02 is based off of the original OQO 01, but is even better than ever. Upgrades include 9 integrated antennas, optional built-in EV-DO Sprint mobile broadband, WiFi (a/b/g), Bluetooth 2.0, an illuminated thumbkeyboard, and one touch zoom keys. The OQO 02 also features capacitive TouchScrollers, and a new docking station. This second generation UMPC has up to 4x performance with a 1.5Ghz CPU, a 60 GB hard drive, 1GB RAM, 6x brighter screen, and HDMI digital out.

Customers who have previously purchased the OQO 01 model UMPC are eligible for a special customer loyalty offer. With a purchase of a OQO 02, loyal customers get a free high-end docking station that includes a dual layer slot DVD read/write optical drive. This retails for $399, but OQO is offering it free to keep you with them.
