I have come across this interesting concept from Opera 9.5. Not only is it available for your PC and Mac, or your smartphone but now you can simply install it on your USB drive. And in case you “like” any Internet Explorer just as much as I do you might choose to use up 15MB of space on your drive to get a decent browser which will be always at hand.

I work a lot on various computers so I always have my memory stick close by as I can’t go MobileMe with everything I do (yet). Further more if your paranoia won’t let you leave any traces of your browsing around on other computers than your own, then you’ll just have to use that USB drive for browsing too. I won’t go further explaining how this Opera 9.5 USB version is a good idea for always having access to your bookmarks and favorite pages. I guess you realized all that by now. Only downside is that this trick is Windows only for now.

The only “problem” for me will be adjusting to Opera after all that Firefox and then switching back and forth from one to the other. I wonder is Mozilla will offer anything like that when they launch version 3.0 next Tuesday.
