Onkyo BX UMPC bears strong resemblance to UMID M2By Mark Rollins - 12/14/2009 2:04:25 PM |
While the UMID M1 may have been the first pocketable clamshell device to run Windows or Linux-based software, it may have been presumptive of the company to develop the M2 before the M1 was properly in demand.
But that’s all right, because Onkyo is developing the BX, which essentially has the same design as the M2. It does have an 1.2GHz Atom Z515 processor, 512 MB, 32GB SSD, and 4.8-inch (1024 x 600 LCD) with Windows XP.
The price is about $730, which is pretty steep for an UMPC.
