OLYMPUS WS-331M Digital Voice Recorder & Music Player

Olympus reveals the new WS-331M Digital Voice Recorder. Not only is this device a voice recorder, it also functions as a portable music player and storage device. A large LCD display adds to the ease of navigation and organization of files. With a hefty 2GB of flash memory storage, users can easily record up to 555 of quality recording or roughly around 500 (4min 128kbps quality) music files. Both MP3 and WMA media files are supported.

Its unique design allows the battery unit to separate from the unit and plug directly into a pc’s USB port for easy file transfers. It uses very little power and offers close to 21 hours of continuous operation. The many uses for this device make this a great product for use in the office, the classroom, and/or home. Pricing is estimated at around $199.99 and will be available sometime in April 2007.
