Olympus has a long history as a camera company, and are considered to be leaders in creating innovative new cameras. In 2005, Yoshihisa Maitani, an Advisor at Olympus Corporation, gave a great presentation overviewing the history of Olympus as a company, as well as discussing his uncompromising philosophy as a developer to create cameras that previously didn’t exist elsewhere.
