The onboard memory of 256MB allows for over 144 hours of recording time. For a few more dollars you can get the VN-4100PC, which is basically the same except for its direct PC link to allow transfer of files to save and organize on your computer. A nice feature of the voice recorders is the index marking function, which allows you to jump to a set point of interest in a recording to quickly locate important information. The VN-4100 also features voice activated and timer recording.
