As you can see in the picture, the Olive FrvrOn V-G2300 is India’s first dual powered mobile phone compatible with any AAA battery.

I have no idea if it is the first in the world that can run on a AAA battery, but it is also powered by a rechargeable Li-ion battery. I have no idea if this would be helpful if living in India, but where I live, cell phones always need more juice. If it can get it from an ordinary battery rather than an AC cord, then I’m surprised we haven’t seen more phones like this.

This particular phone, which doesn’t look too advanced, costs about $37.
