Some time ago, Microsoft announced that they would be offering an online suit of Office web-apps that would mimic the functionality of the Google Docs suit of web apps. However, ever since the announcement we have heard virtually nothing of the online software.

However, today Microsoft has told us that the suite will include Word, PowerPoint, Excel and OneNote and will be accessed for free given the user have a Live account. Furthmore, it was also made known that the software will begin closed testing today.

Any bets on the fact that it will only run on Internet Explorer?
