O2 Xda Argon Pocket PC Edition Launches Today
O2 UK launched the mysterious HTC Panda today as the new Xda Argon, a Windows 5.0 based Pocket PC Phone Edition. It has an exceptionally large 3.5" touchscreen, and a two megapixel camera, but other than that, there's not much to write home about here. The phone specs are pretty basic and unimpressive as compared to other phones launched lately. The Xda Argon features GSM and GPRS, WiFi, Bluetooth, and Windows Mobile 5.0 instead of the newest 6.0 edition - lame! There's no high speed internet access, which is another downside of this phone. But if you're looking for a phone that looks like its cool, but are too cheap to shell out for something a bit more pricey (and technologically advanced), O2 Xda Argon might be a good option. It's free with a contract with O2, which isn't too shabby.
