NTT Docomo Launches Kaismart Feature

Japanese mobile phone carrier, NTT Docomo, has promised to come up with a feature which can be used for office environments before. Now, Docomo has unveiled "Kaismato" (Kaismart) or Osaifu-Keitai phones or FeliCa RFID cards. The system is based on the RFID chips inside the employees' cell phones. Using Docomo's Kaismart, people can clock in and out of work, open doors, pay for meals in the cafeteria, access PCs and other network peripherals, etc. The service will become commercially available starting February 8, 2008.
