Now Lebanon might be banning the BlackBerry tooBy Mark Rollins - 08/06/2010 6:10:03 PM |
It seems like a lot of countries are getting all anti-BlackBerry lately. I believe Saudi Arabia banned it for at least a few hours, and UAE is slated for October.
According to my source, it would appear that Lebanon is reconsidering their stance on the BlackBerry.
Lebanon is only the most recent country to vocalize its distrust of RIM’s encryption measures, which prevent prying governmental eyes from reading BlackBerry messages.
I’d like to see where this goes.
