Following the successful two-way slider design which combines a QWERTY keyboard and a numeric keypad in a cellphone, Nokia has applied a patent for its own interpretation of a layered mobile device. Taking the concept to the next level, the giant handset manufacturer is actually planning a triple slider phone by squeezing in keyboard/keypad on one another. It also has sliding keypads that will movie in 2 directions – 1 contains the numeric keypad while the other contains controls for music and games.
