Nokia has a new patent which describes a new smartphone. It will feature a swivel widescreen and a full QWERTY keyboard. The idea is pretty ingenious. You have a widescreen for all those videos and all that video browsing you want and it swivels out only when it’s needed. Otherwise you will be using just half of that screen. We have plenty of questions for you Nokia! How big will the smartphone be? How will that screen stay glued to the rest of the phone? Will that been support multi-touch?

Will this project end up in stores soon? We’ve seen plenty of patents that failed to come through yet.
