Nokia vs. Apple The celebrated legal battle between Apple and Nokia over patent issues is scheduled for 2012 which should once and for all settle the issue of who infringed patents. Nokia is reportedly seeking $1.3 billion in damages from Apple.

Nokia is claiming that Apple infringed 10 of its patents while the latter made a countersuit last December and contended that it was Nokia who actually made the patent violations. Apple removed four patents from the claims but the legal battle will push through. By 2012, we shall know who is really at fault!
