Nokia has announced today that it has closed a deal to form a joint venture with a company located in China, the new venture will be called Nokia Alliance Internet Services Company Limited (a big name I might add).

Anyhow, the other part of the venture is held by an investment company named New Alliance. The venture will start its business in January 2010 with 80 persons working.

Niklas Savander from Nokia, comments:

China is the world’s largest mobile and internet market. As Nokia is entering the services business in China, establishing this joint venture is a natural step to help us bring locally relevant mobile services to Chinese consumers.
