Nokia to release free turn-by-turn GPS, tooBy Jeff Baker - 01/21/2010 7:12:14 AM |

If you’ve been paying attention you’ll know that Google announced a free turn-by-turn GPS service not too long ago. Well, Nokia is hot on their heels with some free turn-by-turn GPS themselves.
If you’ve got a Nokia X6, N97 Mini, E72, E55, E52, 6730 Classic, 6710 Navigator, 5800 XpressMusic, 5800 Navigation Edition or 5230 then you are good to go and you can just get the Ovi Maps update now.
If TomTom and other GPS manufacturers weren’t scared before, they are definitely getting there now.
