Nokia RM-242 Mobile Phone Gets FCC Approval

Nokia has yet another music phone that got the FCC approval today. Termed the RM-242 - no, that's just the FCC ID - the phone is clearly a music phone judging by its facade. It features play/pause buttons right in between the answer/hang-up keys. The phone comes in a slider form factor and appears to be a Java-based phone. It's got a 3.2 megapixel camera (supporting video). It is 3G-compatible (WCDMA 850 and 2100 are supported) and is a quad-band GSM world phone.
The phone features a 2.5mm audio connector, as well as USB interface for data sync. For additional memory, it supports microSD memory cards. There's also support for Nokia Xpress audio messaging. Other usual goodies include FM radio, Visual Radio, Voice Recorder, Equalizer, and Push-To-Talk support.
No word on the pricing yet, but the new Nokia phone should hit the markets soon.
