After months of eager waiting, Nokia has finally revealed that its flagship device, the N97, will be available for release this month, although there is no specific date from which it will start selling.   The handset will be available across 75 countries, so chances are that your locale is on the list too.  Jonas Geust, Vice President and Head of Nokia Nseries Division, had this to say on the occasion:

The Nokia N97 is an important step towards our vision of delivering a highly personalized Internet experience.  Fuelled by a multitude of music, maps, games, media and applications via Ovi, the Nokia N97 transforms the Internet into an experience that’s completely tailored to the tastes and interests of its owner.

With the Nokia N97′s impending release and a new version of iPhone to be revealed, not to mention the Pre thrown in for good measure, June is shaping up to be a fine month indeed!
