Nokia N94 in the Wild!
Reports have surfaced that the unannounced Nokia N94i is in the works. What's more interesting is that the phone is touted to run on Windows Mobile! That's a big surprise as most (if not all) high-end Nokia handsets have been specifically developed with the Symbian Operating System.
According to the listed specifications, the phone would include a touchscreen functionality (with stylus) and a multimedia device synonymous with the N-Series. It would also sport a 2 megapixel camera, speakerphone, Bluetooth 2.0 and MicroSD expansion.
It's also listed as a dual-sim device with quad-band GSM support. Of course, Microsoft has been slowly making in-roads into Nokia handsets for several months with Nokia's purchase of Intellisync and the recent announcement to integrate Windows Live services into some Nokia handsets.
But still, for those of us familiar with Symbian OS on a Nokia phone, this is quite surprising.
