A few days ago we heard that that hot Nokia N900 Internet Tablet will be compatible with AT&T but sadly, we have to inform you that such a thing will not happen. Here’s what Nokia had to officially say about 850/1900/2100 MHz WCDMA compatibility:
Regarding the Nokia N900, we have announced a tri-band WCDMA version that utilizes the 900/1700/2100 MHz networks. There have been no announcements regarding a version that supports the 850/1900/2100MHz bands.
You can keep hoping that Nokia will launch a 850/1900/2100 MHz WCDMA but just in case it doesn’t you should consider changing carriers if you really want that N900.

AT&T not getting the N900???
That doesn’t mean there will be no 850/1900/2100Mhz Nokia N900…
AT&T it’s not the only carrier with those frequencies you know?
You realize there’s other countries out there (not just US of A) right?…
There’s Canada, Mexico, Central/South America just to name a few other countries that support those frequencies, and that’s a big chunk of the planet that Nokia will not miss out, I’m sure.
So chill out… It’s just a matter of time as we all learned from the past with other devices.
