Nokia N900 hitting distributors on September 27th?

By Jeff Baker - 09/14/2009 9:05:17 PM

It seems that Nokia has recently issued the above notice to handset distributors letting them know that the N900 is en route and scheduled to arrive September 27th.

For those of you not paying attention, the N900 is slated to be Nokia’s first Maemo 5 handset and is destined for the US carrier T-Mobile.

Of course, this remains a rumor until Nokia comes forth and speaks of it but if/when it proves itself to be true we may see the N900 made available for purchase within the first week of October which may excite some consumers. Then again its ~$650 price tag may be a deal breaker for most but hey, it isn’t cheap being an early adopter.
