Everyone has probably heard about the Nokia N87 which was posted here last month which features a 12 megapixel camera. But now reports have it that a Nokia phone with 12MP camera will “indeed” be coming out and will be known as the Nokia N8 and not the N87. Which is which and why the name change if they are one and the same phone?

Anyway, the Nokia N8 is rumored to be coming out by the first half of this year. It will based on a Symbian OS and features a 3.5” capacitive touch screen display, 720p HD recording, an HDMI port and some videos on demand service from the OVI Store.
