Nokia N86 is the first camera phone from Nokia to offer us an 8 megapixel camera. And it’s a wide-angle Carl Zeiss optics camera able to take great pictures both in bright and low light conditions. Besides great pictures it will also let you record videos. The camera phone will cost around 375 Euros in the second quarter of 2009 when it will be launched.
Features like geotagging or fast uploading to Ovi Share and Flickr are also available. The internal 8GB memory will let you store about 4,000 images and if that’s not enough, it can be upgraded via microSD card up to an extra 16GB of space. The 2.6-inch OLED screen features scratch resistant hardened glass which will come in handy while you’re browsing through your recent pictures. The phone features full sync capability with a PC and TV-out support. It will come preloaded with Nokia Maps, OVI integration, a built-in compass and an integrated 3-months license for full voice and pedestrian navigation. There’s also support for 3G, WiFi and Bluetooth so you won’t have any problems sending your photos to any destination you choose.

[...] No prizes for guessing what designer Juyoung Kim was up to when he dreamed up this fantastic concept. The Cyon Whiskey aims to be a chameleon of sorts and changes to different shades of whiskey based on the distance of the caller from you. So, if person calling you is overseas, the phone will take on a darker hue as compared to a call originating from your locality, which is designated a milder shade. Don’t even go into details like how the phone can detect distances, but just know that changing colors wouldn’t be its only high point as the Cyon Whiskey is loaded with a full touchscreen display and an 8-megapixel camera.
