The Nokia N810 Internet Tablet is available now from CompUSA for just $299.99 after an instant rebate of $100. NewEgg has the N810 listed for $399.99 while Best Buy will sell one for $479.99. I guess it’s clear where you should order one from. CompUSA have the N810 currently in stock but with this price, things might change fast.
The N810 is a dependable Internet Tablet. It has a 4.13 inch WGA display offering a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. As for processor it uses a TI OMAP 2420, at 400Mhz which will perform quite well with the 128MB DDR RAM and a 256MB flash memory. There’s support for up to 8GB memory via SD and SDHC cards. There’s a QWERTY slide out keyboard for better, faster web browsing. You can count on the GPS receiver, stereo speakers and sensitive microphone for specific GPS actions or playback/recording tasks. There’s an integrated VGA web camera and an ambient light sensor. There’s WLAN connectivity and Bluetooth 2.0 and EDR support. If you need to connect it to your PC there’s an USB port.
And remember you can run Android on it should you want to or you can opt for Debian.
