Nokia launches Nokia Magnifier app

This won’t help you stay away from your reading glasses completely, but it would definitely help in situations where you have forgotten your pair.  Called simply the Nokia Magnifier, this software will help you in times when you are applying for a loan or buying something and you want to browse through the fine print, which many of us tend to ignore.  The application uses the in-built camera to magnfiy and improve readability along with a stabilizer and a negative filter to compensate for the user’s shaking and switching from light to dark text backgrounds.

Watch the video above to get the idea or head straight to Nokia Beta Labs to start using it right away.  Keep in mind that this software only works on handsets with auto-focus cameras like the N95, N82, and E90.
