Nokia is poised to reduce its number of smart phones next year

The smartphone market is looking pretty good, don’t you think? With the iPhone, Android 2.0, and all other advancements, you would think that Nokia would increase the number of its smartphones.

However, this isn’t what the company is doing. In fact, it announced that it will “halve production of its smartphones in 2010″. Say what? Okay, I just don’t see why an cell phone company would do that, unless…they intend to corner the mid to low range phone market. After all, there are people who do not want smartphones. Hard to believe, but there still is that crowd.
