Nokia E90 Communicator

If for anything else, Nokia's latest evolution in its line of "communicator phones" is by far the most attractive. Compared to the usual grey, the new Nokia E90 Communicator comes in brown (mocha) and a stunning red.

Announced today at the 3GSM World Congress the E90 Communicator takes a step further into the concept of mobile office with support for High Speed Download Packet Access or HSDPA and Wireless LAN. Theoretically (depending on what your network offers) that's broadband speeds while on the go.

This of course means it is now easier to take your work anywhere. With broadband access you can open and download large attachments, work on them and send them back without a hitch.

There are other firsts...for example the Nokia E90 now runs Nokia's S60 platform. And of course its the first Communicator to have two cameras, its main 3.2 megapixel auto focus camera and a second one for video conferencing.

Another important feature is its integrated GPS and matching Nokia Maps application for help planning/finding routes.

Of course you get the standard stuff too, FM radio, music player, video player and S60 Internet browser. Support for Bluetooth and Infrared and Mini USB connectivity.

Global availability of the Nokia E90 is expected in the third quarter of 2007 but first deliveries can be expected as early as 2Q. Approximate retail price is about 750-800 euros.
