Contrary to our post yesterday that Nokia’s press conference would probably unveil the Nokia N8, three new messaging phones were instead unveiled. These were the Nokia C6, C3 and E5. These new handsets feature full QWERTY keyboards and were designed for messaging and social networking users.

The Nokia C3 is an S40 phone that features a 2.4” QVGA display 2MP camera with microSD support. It will be available by the second quarter for about $122. The Nokia C6 is a touch screen Symbian phone featuring a 2.4” QVGA display and 5MP camera which will also be available by the second quarter. The Nokia E5 will be available by the third quarter for about €180.
