Nokia’s first laptop was unveiled yesterday and today we find out that it could cost a lot more than we’d be willing to pay for it. Just because it says Nokia on it that doesn’t mean the regular consumer would pay $799 for a netbook. After all that’s what the Booklet 3G is, a netbook, and the rumored price, $799, seems like an awful lot of money to spend on it. Considering that Apple’s future tablet is rumored to cost somewhere in the same neighborhood we’d definitely advice Nokia to reconsider the price for the Booklet. Otherwise people are simply going to choose similar netbooks which are a lot cheaper than Nokia’s first computer.
