Nokia has added a new mobile device to its roster with the reported acquisition of the Dopplr. Among the highlights of this deal include the Dopplr Oy, a private handheld mobile device provider suited for international travelers. Now, Nokia can be able to create Internet-based communities and other solutions using the world wide web.

The acquisition does not change the current Dopplr service which is available at Dopplr.com and on platforms where Dopplr is integrated.
