We were expecting this phone to finally arrive as we already knew Verizon Wireless was going to launch it sooner or later. Well it looks like Verizon has decided to announce the Nokia 7705 Twist. The phone will be available starting with September 13 for $99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a 2-year contract.

The Twist is a messaging phone that comes with a twist. The keyboard is revealed by simply rotating the bottom part from its bottom right corner. Besides impressive texting capabilities this phone will also offer you a 3-megapixel camera with flash, autofocus and video recording, built-in mirror, Bluetooth and EV-DO Rev.0 connectivity, a 2.4-inch TFT QVGA screen and support for Verizon’s own services: VZ Navigator(SM), V CAST Music with Rhapsody, V CAST Video, Visual Voice Mail, Mobile Broadband Connect and Corporate Email.
