Nokia has announced a new cellphone that will make its debut in the European market in the near future, the 7100s. The slipping cellphone is on the S40 category (Series 40) and the expected price is close to $280.

At the moment there aren’t many exact details, but from the image we can understand this is an entry-level phone.

In terms of features, the Nokia 7100s has a QVGA display screen with 260k colors, a 1.3-megapixel camera to shoot photos, and an audio + video player. To transfer files from/to a computer you’ve got two options: a microUSB connector, or bluetooth 2.0.

Other features include 3G support, tri-band GSM, and Opera Mini as the pre-loaded browser.
