Nokia 5230 Cell Phone Gets FCC NodBy Sandeep - 09/10/2009 12:27:43 PM |
Remember the Nokia 5230 that was announced a few days ago? The phone was recently spotted over at the FCC – that’s right folks, the newest touchscreen phone from Nokia is set to flood the markets. I really wish Nokia stopped using numbers in their model numbers though – it’s just not easy to remember ‘em all. As seen over in that other post, the phone supports handwriting input along with touch, which is useful for quickly noting down information. I’ve never been fond of the touchscreen QWERTY keyboards (at least until now), so that’s one feature that would be mighty useful for me.
Bummer that the phone only has a 2 megapixel camera. But the screen is nice and large (3.2 inch), so that’s good. It’s on schedule for a Q4 2009 release.
