What is Nokia up to now that it has launched a bunch of new phones and mobile gadgets? Well it looks like the Finnish manufacturer might be working on a 12.1-megapixel camera phone which should suit the needs of passionate photographers.

Unfortunately the picture you see happens to be a fake and you should not get your hopes up any time soon. A 12.1-megapixel camera is certainly going to be installed on a future Nokia phone but we might still have to wait a long time for that to happen.

On the other hand, considering that this 12.1-megapixel camera phone idea has already emerged on Flickr, we should assume that at least some people are thinking about such a handset. Who’s to say that Nokia isn’t thinking similar thoughts too?
