Those lucky enough to get Nook orders in on time will get bragging rights of being the only ones to have the device for a bit longer. This is because Barnes & Noble has just let us know that all new orders will not be fulfilled until February 1st, 2010.

So, it looks like you’re going to be stuck waiting if you were trying to get a Nook on or around Christmas. Bummer.
