NFL and Verizon reached an agreement and closed the deal that puts NFL Mobile and NFL RedZone available to Verizon Wireless cellphones. If you are a big fan of NFL this is good news, otherwise it’s just another way to spend time looking at your cellphone. Anyway, the service will be live on April 22 to 24, so everyone can check out the NFL Draft.

At the moment there is no exact information about the prices of the service, nor which mobile handsets will support it, but in August we will have more information. In the meanwhile it is also notable that Verizon Wireless will become the official wireless service sponsor for NFL.
