NextDimension Packs LCD Monitor on TowerBy Maverick - 12/04/2008 4:10:10 PM |
For those who need both portability and heavy duty processing needs can now look forward to NextDimension’s upcoming lineup of “portable” computers which will be briefcase-sized mobile workstations suitable for real-time video editing anywhere.
The design sees the marriage of the portability of laptops and the power of desktops. The 17” monitor is built directly into the tower providing a 1920×1200 display; it is powered by single or dual quadcore processors, up to 4GB RAM, up to 1.3TB storage, NVIDIA Geforce graphics and more.
While it looks portable, the whole package comes in at 22 lbs. so this won’t be any notebook replacement. Pricing starts at $6,400.
