Evidently, everyone expects Apple to launch a new iPhone in June. And we have plenty of time to talk about the future iPhone, no matter if it will arrive or not in June.
The iPhone 3G will be launched in the United Arab Emirates later this month and that might indicate a June release of the third iPhone version. On February 15th the iPhone 3G will arrive to UAE and Saudi Arabia, and Mark Davis, Program Director for iPhone at Etisalat (the company bringing the iPhone) said to Dow Jones that “next version of the device, which is due out in June, will be launched in the UAE at the same time.” Was he supposed to say that out loud? Now, that the “secret” is out, we should expect all sorts of new iPhone features to pop up all over the Internet. But what do you have to say about this iPhone next generation hype?

If I was Palm or Sprint, I’d make sure I launch my device before Apple will launch a future iPhone in June. [...]
