The newest battery is the RichardSolo 1800 with Cable, model RS008, which uses a cable with a mini-USB to Apple-licensed connector. It works for both variations of iPhone and all models of iPod, except shuffle.
The most important design improvement provided by this new RichardSolo 1800, is the ability to listen to music while charging your iPod. The cable connection doesn’t block the headphone jack thus allowing continuous iPod listening, with no interruptions. If you have an iPod touch then this is the battery specifically designed for you.
